The Community Reporting Tool is a quick and easy way for you to report any instances of racism or other discrimination that you’ve experienced or witnessed.

A commitment to diversity and strong community spirit are two of the things that make Victoria and the City of Melbourne a great place to live.

But we know some members of our community continue to experience racism. It can cause serious harm to individuals and silences communities. It can leave people feeling isolated and marginalised.

To combat racism, we’ve partnered with the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission. It’s an independent body that works to promote equality and protect human rights.

Racism has no place in Victoria and the City of Melbourne – if you experience it, you can make a report via our Community Reporting Tool.

Reports made by the tool are sent securely and confidentially to the Commission. When you make a report, you can ask the Commission to contact you if you want further information about your rights or how you can make a complaint.

No one should have to put up with racism. Let’s work together to make a safer, more inclusive community.
