Community Hub at The Dock

Community Hub at The Dock is a community facility for boating enthusiasts and for families to access a range of services.

Community Hub at The Dock is located on the corner of Collins and Bourke streets, next to the Library at The Dock​ and Buluk Park on the waterfront in Victoria Harbour, Docklands.

The two-storey building features a community boating hub on the ground floor, home to the Docklands Yacht Club, Dragon Boat Victoria and the Melbourne Outrigger Canoe Club.

The family services centre on the second floor includes four consulting rooms, a playgroup room, a large terrace program and group program room. Services include:

A large multipurpose room suitable for community workshops and health and wellbeing activities is also available.

In line with Council’s 2024-25 budget the hire fees will change from 1 July 2024. All booking requests processed prior to close of business on Sunday 30 June 2024 will remain at the 2023-24 amounts.

Booking requests for 2025 room hire can be submitted from 9am, Friday 1 November 2024.

Getting there

Tram: ​Routes 11, 48 (stop D18). This stop is within the free tram zone connecting Southern Cross Station and the city.

Train: ​Take any train to Southern Cross Station and catch the tram or walk 500 m to the Hub.

Car: There are a limited number of metered parking spaces in the area, primarily along Bourke and Collins streets. There is no parking within the immediate vicinity of the Hub.

Opening hours

Rooms are available for hire 7 days a week from 7am to 10pm (excluding public holidays).
