We offer City of Melbourne residents one free hard waste collection each financial year. Individual residential addresses can book one collection service of one cubic metre per financial year.

If you live in a high rise building, you can ask your building manager to book a collection for you.

Commercial or retail addresses are not entitled to a hard waste collection.

Bookings are essential and dates are made available two months in advance.

On the day before hard waste collection, items must be placed on the kerbside or in an accessible location for the hard waste collection trucks. Under no circumstances will we enter your private property boundary to collect your items.
