The Urban Forest Precinct Plans are the implementation guidelines that underpin our Urban Forest Strategy. They outline what trees will be planted where, when and why over a period of 10 years.

Our current Precinct Plans are coming to the end of their cycle and are being renewed.

The existing plans are included below and the new plans will be added as they are completed.

                    How is the community involved?

We are seeking input from residents, workers and visitors in each of the neighbourhoods to inform the new plans.  People are invited to share their ideas at a public workshop or chat to the team at a neighbourhood pop-up location.  This is an exciting opportunity to have your say on the future of street trees within your neighbourhood.

When are the workshops and how do people sign up?

The first workshops are between March to May 2023.

More information, online survey and up to date information can be found on the Participate Melbourne page.

Please note: accessible versions of these plans will be provided as soon as possible.
