                    Participation guidelines

To help you prepare for your ArtPlay experience, please read the following guidelines.

For COVID-19 safety, please see our COVID-19 update for more information.

Please do not come to the ArtPlay venue if you have flu-like symptoms.

                    For workshop/event participants:

                    • Let your imagination out to play!
                    • Experiment with ideas and techniques to explore your creativity.
                    • Express your voice (child’s voice) through individual and collaborative expression.

                    Everyone welcome

To help us prepare for your participation:

                    • Please contact us if you have a medical condition or allergies that we should be made aware of in advance. See more information below regarding our anaphylaxis policy.
                    • We welcome you to contact us if you have access requirements.

                    Parent/carers participation:

For most workshops for under 7 years, parent/carers are required to stay and participate alongside their child. We encourage you to have a go, while giving your child space to make their own creative choices (modelling creative engagement may help your child to feel more comfortable and confident).

For workshops for 7 years and above, parent/carers are generally not required to stay unless stated on the event listing. If you are dropping off your child/ren, please inform ArtPlay staff if they are to be taken from the program by another adult, other than yourself.

                    • your child can manage any potential anaphylaxis including self-administering their own EpiPen®/equivalent or
                    • you will stay onsite to be responsible to manage any potential anaphylaxis (this is mandatory if your child does not bring their EpiPen®/equivalent).
