                    Use our registers to find information on the status of planning and building permit applications, VCAT planning decisions, heritage properties and open space contributions.
                    • Planning permit register

                      The planning permit register provides information about planning permit applications and decisions in the City of Melbourne. You can view plans and supporting documentation for applications which are currently on public notice (advertised).
                    • Public open space contribution register

                      The City of Melbourne's Public Open Space Contribution Register provides information on money collected from subdivision applications under the Subdivision Act 1988.
                    • Building permits register

                      This public register of building permits lists all building permits for building works issued by Melbourne Certification Group, in and outside of the City of Melbourne, and also any building works issued by Private Building Surveyors within the City of Melbourne.
                    • Ministerial planning referral register

                      The ministerial planning referral register provides information about ministerial planning applications which have been referred to the City of Melbourne for comment.
                    • Planning appeal register

                      The planning appeal register provides information about City of Melbourne planning applications that have been determined following a review by the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) since 1 January 2013.
