Arts House

Arts House produces and presents a year-round program of contemporary art and performance. For artists, audiences and the sector, we support the new and bold to thrive.

Arts House is a place of artistic inquiry, adventure and social change

We work purposefully to support independent artists and the small-medium sector, and to create space for audiences and communities to gather and experience new work. Across a wide range of forms and disciplines, we champion the bold and experimental.

We believe the arts are for everyone

Our program is informed by the commitments of our Equity—Builder and our Disability and Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP), and we offer reduced ticket types to anyone who may face barriers to attend the arts, alongside free events and exhibitions.

Arts House is a key program for the City of Melbourne, complementing programming at sibling venues ArtPlay and Signal, at the city’s First Nation’s festival YIRRAMBOI and alongside the City of Melbourne's libraries and hubs.
