                    Use this form to lodge a submission in support of a planning permit application, where City of Melbourne is the decision maker.

                    You cannot use this form to support Ministerial applications.

                    When can I lodge a submission of support?

                    You can lodge a submission of support any time after the advertising period has started, and before a decision is made on the application.

                    We must receive your submission by the date shown on this website, the notice, the advertising sign displayed, or the newspaper notice.

                    We will consider all submissions we receive before a decision is made.

                    What happens after lodging a submission?

                    Once you lodge a submission, we'll send you acknowledgment that we received it.

                    A planning officer will consider valid submissions as part of the application assessment. City of Melbourne must take all support submissions into consideration before making a decision.

                    Please note, copies of submissions are public documents. The applicant, Councillors and VCAT or other interested parties may view them to help inform the decision as part of the planning process.

                    City of Melbourne is committed to protecting your privacy. The personal information requested on this form is being collected by City of Melbourne in accordance with the Planning and Environment Act 1987. 

                    The personal information requested on this form is being collected by Council to assist Council in the registration of your support submission. The personal information will be used solely by Council for that primary purpose or directly related purposes. Council may disclose this information to the applicant and their representatives, neighbouring property owners and/or occupiers and any other parties who may have an interest in the application. If you included any personal or identifying information about another person in your submission, please ensure you have informed that person you provided their information to City of Melbourne.

                    Council must make a copy of this submission available for any person to inspect free of charge under Section 57(5) of the Act. 

                    The personal information you provide in this submission will be hosted in Victoria and New South Wales (NSW). While NSW does have privacy protections in place, Council does not make assertions as to whether those protections are similar to those available to you in Victoria, under the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014. 

                    By submitting an application you consent to the storage of your personal information in Victoria and NSW.
