Where to park

Find out where to park in the City of Melbourne. Locate off-street car parks, accessible parking bays and get information about time limits and fees if you need to park on the street.

Parking on and off the street

Limited parking is available on the street in the central city for short stays of up to two hours. We prioritise kerbside parking for specific needs, like accessible parking permit holders, service and delivery vehicles, and vehicles picking-up and dropping-off of passengers and goods. More than 130 off-street car parks supply 68,000 spaces for longer-term public parking, with 40 per cent of those spaces located in the CBD.

We're working with the community to better manage the limited parking spaces in our capital city for a simpler, fairer, better parking experience.
