Playgroups offer children the opportunity to learn through play and socialise with other children. It is a great platform for families to develop a sense of community involvement, and to access other parenting information and connections to local support networks.
These playgroups are inclusive of all families and are free of charge. Families who live, work or study in the City of Melbourne can attend playgroups.
Playrooms are not available for hire or private functions.
The City of Melbourne is committed to being a child safe organisation and has zero tolerance for child abuse.
As a city for all people, we create environments where all children have a voice and are listened to, their views are respected and they contribute to how we plan for, design and develop our services and activities.
