Supporting people with hidden disabilities

We want to make Melbourne one of the most accessible cities in the world. Creating an accessible, safe city for everyone means providing every person with a disability the space and assistance they need, when they need it.

NDIS

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is the new way of providing support for people with a disability, their families and carers in Australia.

Incontinence product disposal bins

According to the Continence Foundation of Australia, at least 1.34 million Australian boys and men are living with incontinence daily.

  • Aboriginal People Flag

The City of Melbourne respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land we govern, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin and pays respect to their Elders past and present.

We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations.

We accept the invitation in the Uluru Statement from the Heart and are committed to walking together to build a better future.
