In the interest of self-regulation, if a busker is located directly outside a retailer or residential building and is breaching their permit or causing a nuisance (for example, if their performance is loud, intrusive or repetitive), all parties should try to resolve the issue amicably.
If both parties cannot come to a mutual agreement, the busker should move on if requested by the retailer or resident, or contact a Local Laws Officer on 03 9658 9658 or report the issue online to mediate.
