City Library Gallery

Want to exhibit at one of the busiest public libraries in Australia? The vibrant gallery at City Library is available for artists wanting to present a month-long exhibition.

Features of the room

The gallery consists of:

  • two gallery walls: 17 m long x 3.2 m high and 3.5 m long x 3.5 m high
  • directional lighting
  • three perspex display cases.

Getting there

City Library is close to Flinders Street Railway Station and various tram routes.

Conditions of hire

The space provides a fantastic opportunity for visual artists to curate and exhibit their work at a gallery in the centre of Melbourne. 

Places in the program are limited and participants will be selected through an open EOI process.

Applications to exhibit in 2024 are now closed. Applications to exhibit in 2025 will open in October 2024​.

$1000 per month, including GST
