Bookings are essential for all groups, programs and events run at our neighbourhood centres.

With a large open main hall, kitchen and separate meeting rooms this centre is a popular meeting space for various culturally and linguistically diverse groups who provide a range of social and recreational activities for older people including singing, dancing, art and craft, cooking, sewing, community meals, workshops and outings.

Located minutes away from public transport, Kensington Neighbourhood Centre hosts a number of social, health and wellbeing and educational programs and is home to various cultural groups and organisations who offer community meals, organ concerts, outings, workshops afternoon teas, information sessions and various other social activities. Backing onto the main hall, the tranquil sensory garden space is available for all visitors to enjoy. The weekly Sensory Garden program also offers an opportunity for light gardening activities and socialising for all participants, including people with dementia and their carers.

Located in the picturesque setting of Fawkner Park, the centre hosts a number of free and low-cost health and wellbeing and recreational activities for older people, people with disabilities and carers. Current popular activities at South Yarra Senior Citizens Centre include a regular morning tai chi group, monthly musical performances and community lunches and afternoon teas.
