The Gallery room is a medium room for hire at the Multicultural Hub that can be used for various activities.

Features of the room

Gallery room is suitable for:

  • meetings
  • presentations
  • workshops
  • conferences.

You can hire the room for a single occasion or ones that occur regularly.

  • Five power points – extension cords are available on request

Getting there

Get off at the Queen Victoria Market Stop 7 on routes:

  • 19 North Coburg
  • 57 West Maribyrnong
  • 59 Airport West.

You can walk to the Multicultural Hub from Melbourne Central Railway Station.

Conditions of hire

We give priority access to:

  • established migrant groups residing in the City of Melbourne
  • new and emerging humanitarian and migrant communities
  • Indigenous communities
  • international student groups
  • multi-faith networks.

You must also:

  • be volunteer-run or primarily volunteer-run
  • be not for profit, non-government and not a political party
  • support the principles of multiculturalism.

How to book

You must book the room for a minimum of three hours.

Fill in either the casual or regular users booking application form and return it to us. Your booking is not secured until we have confirmed it in writing.

Fees

Hourly rate for casual hire

  • Community groups – not-for-profit: $19
  • Community agencies – not-for-profit: $30
  • Government or tertiary: $45.

Hourly rate for regular hire

  • Community groups – not-for-profit: $13
  • Community agencies – not-for-profit: $22.
