The Performance Space is suitable for large functions. The space has audiovisual equipment and flexible seating arrangements.

Conditions of hire

  • An induction into this space is required for all new hirers.
  • Food is not to be eaten in the Performance Space. The Community Room has a kitchenette that is suitable for catering.
  • Bookings with expected attendance of over 30 patrons must have the Community Room adjacent to the Performance Space added to their booking for a charge.
    • The Community Hubs officer will complete the Community Room booking on your behalf once we have received your booking request.
    • The Community Room can be used as a foyer, registration space, a breakout space or for catering.
    • The Community Room is a semi-private space.  It has public bathroom entrance and emergency exit through which the public can move.
    • Fees for the Community Room are:
      • commercial / private event rate: $39 per hour
      • community or not for profit organisations: $7.40 per hour.
  • There is no technical support provided during bookings.
  • The hirer is responsible for set up and pack down of the venue.
  • ​Venue hire is limited to 10 hours per week or 15 hours per calendar month.
  • Payment is only accepted by debit/credit card and can be paid through the online bookings portal.
  • The venue is not available for hire on public holidays.

Once we receive your booking request, we will provide you with a booking confirmation email with information on costs, inductions, building access (including after hours), security, cleaning and technical support. An invoice will follow separately. Payment can be made via the online payment portal. We only accept payment by debit or credit card.

If submitting a regular or recurring request, please be aware that bookings are limited to 15 hours per month, per hirer, and that certain spaces or times may not be suitable for recurring bookings.
