                    Parks and Gardens Advisory Committee

                    The Parks and Gardens Advisory Committee provides important advice to help manage our parks, gardens and urban landscapes, which are fundamental to City of Melbourne’s liveability.

                    ​The committee offers diverse community perspectives and technical expertise in the consideration of complex issues which impact these spaces. The committee is engaged to advise on:

                    Environment Portfolio Lead, Councillor Rohan Leppert chairs the committee, which includes eight City of Melbourne residents or ratepayers and up to eight technical committee members with expertise in parks management, horticulture, ecology, health and wellbeing and landscape design.

                    The first Parks and Advisory Committee was established in 2009 and continues to work hard to ensure our parks, gardens and urban landscapes can be enjoyed by generations to come.
