Statutory requirements
A register of authorised officers kept under section 224(1A) of the Local Government Act 1989.
A register of delegations kept under sections 11 and 47 of the Local Government Act 2020.
The Local Government Act 2020 (the Act) requires our CEO, councillors and any officers nominated by the CEO (or delegate) to complete Personal Interests Returns.
The CEO (or delegate) has the power to determine which Council staff are nominated to submit Personal Interests Returns based on the nature of an officer s job, including but not limited to their financial and other delegations.
Section 135 of the Act requires Council to publish a summary of the most recent Personal Interests Returns which have been lodged with Council.

Non-statutory requirements
As well as our statutory requirements, we make this information available.
Except for minutes that have been closed to the public under section 66 of the Local Government Act 2020, you can access the agendas for and minutes of:
- ordinary and special meetings
- delegated committee meetings that were established under section 63 of the Act.

Councillors are required to declare all conflicts of interest under sections 127 and 128 of the Local Government Act 2020.
Information about contracts valued at:
- $150,000 or more for the purchase of goods and services
- $200,000 or more for the carrying out of works.
These contracts are not part of section 186(5) of the Act and were awarded without competitive processes.
