• The hirer is responsible for set up and pack down of the venue. This must occur within the booked time.
• Bookings cannot start or finish within 15 minutes of North Melbourne Library closing hours. Please refer to the library opening hours​​.​
• Our meeting rooms are in high demand. To make bookings as fair as possible, we may not be able to accommodate all requests or guarantee ongoing bookings for groups from year to year.

Booking process

Once we receive your booking request, we will provide you with a booking confirmation email with information on costs, inductions, building access (including after hours), security, cleaning and technical support. An invoice will follow separately. Payment can be made via the online payment portal, we only accept payment by debit/credit card.

You will be notified of your application's outcome within 10 working days of us receiving it. We advise that you submit your application as far as possible in advance of your desired date/s to avoid disappointment.

If submitting a regular or recurring request, please be aware that bookings are limited to 15 hours per month, per hirer, and that certain spaces or times may not be suitable for recurring bookings.
