The Multicultural Hub has large rooms for hire including the Drill Hall.

Getting there

Get off at the Queen Victoria Market Stop 7 on routes:

  • 19 North Coburg
  • 57 West Maribyrnong
  • 59 Airport West.

You can walk to the Drill Hall from Melbourne Central Railway Station.

Conditions of hire

All welcome but we give priority access to:

  • established migrant groups residing in the City of Melbourne
  • new and emerging humanitarian and migrant communities
  • Indigenous communities
  • international student groups
  • multi-faith networks.

You must also:

  • be volunteer-run or primarily volunteer-run
  • be not for profit, non-government, and not a political party
  • support the principles of multiculturalism.

How to book

You must book the room for a minimum of three hours.

Fill in the booking form and return it to us. Your booking is not secured until we have confirmed it in writing.

Fees

Hourly rate

  • Community groups – not-for-profit: $55
  • Community agencies – not-for-profit: $80
  • Government or tertiary: $125
  • Commercial for profit sole trader: $155
  • Weekend surcharge: $75.

Cleaning

The hirer is responsible for cleaning the Drill Hall. You will be charged $200 if the hall is not left clean and tidy.
