                    You can help by donating to our Make Room project, volunteering with an established not-for-profit organisation and supporting people experiencing homelessness.

                    We are raising funds for our Make Room project to address the critical needs of people experiencing rough sleeping and homelessness.

                    We are converting a Council-owned building at 602 Little Bourke Street into secure, safe, and supported accommodation for people experiencing homelessness and sleeping rough.

                    Unison Housing is refurbishing and managing the property, which will include up to 50 studio apartments alongside living areas, wraparound support for residents and a social enterprise. 

                    Residents will stay for up to 12 months or until they are connected with long-term housing.

                    You can make a tax-deductible donation towards Make Room through the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation:

                    Volunteer your time, skills and compassion with an established not-for-profit, listed on Volunteer Victoria.

                    Support

                    Support people experiencing homelessness by understanding the causes of homelessness and the current shortfall in affordable housing.
