Ready, Steady, Go (RSG) offers ways to creatively reimagine and bolster self-sufficiency in case of emergency via an online disaster preparedness repository. Emma Byrne’s photographs of composed objects from Jen’s home emergency kits are accompanied with context-specific scenario mapping questions, facts and DIY hacks. RSG offers an accessible counternarrative and visual aesthetic that is often void in conventional ‘prepper’ survival guides and emergency services manuals.
