Since 1974, APA has led and innovated the arts and disability sectors as the first full-time art studio for artists with intellectual disabilities.
The studio has continued to deliver its unique program during COVID-19 by working remotely with over 60 per cent of its studio artists, providing mentoring and having art supplies delivered to people’s homes.
The gallery has also continued to promote and sell artwork through online exhibitions, broadening its national and international profile.
