                    The Multicultural Hub has medium size rooms for hire including the Community kitchen.

                    The Community kitchen is suitable for:

                    • food preparation
                    • cooking classes and demonstrations

                    The Community kitchen is connected to Red room and they can be booked together for functions wanting to provide food. You can hire the room for a single occasion or ones that occur regularly.

                    Hourly rate for casual hire

                    • Community groups – not-for-profit: $20
                    • Community agencies – not-for-profit: $30
                    • Government or tertiary: $45.

                    Hourly rate for regular hire

                    • Community groups – not-for-profit: $10
                    • Community agencies – not-for-profit: $20.

                    Capacity

                    50 when combined with Red room.

                    Eligibility

                    We give priority access to:

                    • established migrant groups residing in the City of Melbourne
                    • new and emerging humanitarian and migrant communities
                    • Indigenous communities
                    • international student groups
                    • multi-faith networks.

                    You must also:

                    • be volunteer-run or primarily volunteer-run
                    • be not for profit, non-government, and not a political party
                    • support the principles of multiculturalism.

                    ​You can walk to the Multicultural Hub from Melbourne Central Railway Station.

                    How to book

                    You must book the room for a minimum of three hours.

                    ​Fill in either the casual or regular users booking application form and return it to us. Your booking is not secured until we have confirmed it in writing.
