                    How much does it cost to enter?

                    ​The Melbourne Awards are free to enter.

                    How do l enter?

                    What are the key dates?

                    Can I enter in consecutive years?

                    Previous entrants who did not receive a Melbourne Award are eligible to re-enter the awards. Past winners may not enter for a period of two years after receiving a Melbourne Award.

                    Can I enter more than one category?

                    You may not enter the same contribution / project in more than one category. You must choose the category that is most relevant to the nature of your entry. For a detailed summary of each category please see Award categories.

                    Can I nominate my own organisation for an award?

                    Yes, entrants can be self-nominated.

                    What do I need to write about in my submission?

                    The Submission Requirements and Selection Criteria outline the questions you must answer to complete your Melbourne Awards submission.

                    Who will judge my entry?

                    The judges are an independent panel of Melbourne-based business professionals who are highly experienced and respected in their fields and represent a variety of industry sectors.

                    Who attends the meeting with the judges?

                    A maximum of three representatives from the organisation/project can attend the interview with the judges.

                    How will l know if I'm selected as a finalist?

                    All entrants will be notified by email by early October 2023.

                    What is the next step if l am selected as a finalist?

                    Finalists will be contacted via email by early October 2023 and advised of next steps. All finalists will be required to participate in the filming of a video interview and photoshoot which will be used for the Gala Awards Ceremony and for marketing and promotional purposes.

                    How many of my staff can l bring to the Gala Awards Ceremony?

                    All finalists receive two complimentary tickets to the Gala Awards Ceremony. Additional tickets can be purchased closer to the event.
