                    Roads

Busy intersection in the city with cyclists, pedestrians and trams

There are over 342 kilometres of roads within the municipality of Melbourne.
The majority of these roads, along with associated footpath, kerb and channel, drainage, and vehicular and pedestrian bridges, are the responsibility of the City of Melbourne. We also manage road names and street numbering in the municipality.
