4 August to 22 September 2005
With the aid of the Melbourne and Metropolitan Board of Works base plans, Town of North Melbourne 1905 told the stories of the people, businesses and industries of the different neighbourhoods of North Melbourne in the first years of the 20th century.
The exhibition brought together documents from the Public Records Office Victoria, the City of Melbourne's Art and Heritage Collection, the North Melbourne Library and private collections, in order to illuminate this story of the city's past.
