The Big Draw is a perfect match with ArtPlay’s philosophy. It starts with an empty page – a piece of paper – and creativity in its purest, most direct form. Inspired by a similar Big Draw program in the UK, the aim is to get everyone drawing together.
Children drop by ArtPlay during a Big Draw weekend workshop and, within half an hour, can be hanging their drawing up on a display wall.
Children may also join an extended Big Draw program through their school, where they participate in drawing workshops conducted over several months. ArtPlay’s outreach program also takes The Big Draw to selected schools and venues across Victoria
