In 1957 Creative Wigs on Swanston Street was formed, complete with all the trimmings. A world-wide supplier of wigs and hairpieces for fun, fashion, opera, theatre, ballet, television and drag performers, Creative Wigs also assists those suffering hair loss. Fringe benefits include meeting Bon Jovi, while Moulin Rouge, Lord of the Rings, Phantom of the Opera and King Kong are just some of the productions Creative Wigs has serviced. Now 86 and still working full-time, Abe and his three-generation family business continues to grow.
