Ralph Alphonso

Ralph Alphonso is a creative director who lives and works in the City of Melbourne. Ralph is creating a project of significance, the 5x4 Hayes Lane Project, which will be a unique inner city dwelling set on an unusually small footprint and designed, built and powered with passive and active eco-driven processes, materials and performance considerations. Ralph has drawn on diverse expertise to design and commission his new home to provide a leading example of inner city living. ‘5x4’ is drawing upon the One Planet Living principles and was presented at the United Nations Sustainable Development Conference in Rio in 2012.

Dr Dave Collins

Dr Collins lives and works within the City of Melbourne and has demonstrated that commercial buildings can provide positive impacts for the environment. Dr Collins' Positive Energy Places generates more energy than its need to provide electricity for his business and his tenants. The onsite electric vehicle charging station and rooftop garden provide examples of what a sustainable Melbourne could be. Dr Collins lends his time to mentor young people that share his vision to create Positive Energy Places across the city.
