Chris Knowles

Analog Dayz is a reworking of three super-8 films shot by the artist in and around Melbourne in the early 1980s. The films are from a larger body of observational landscape and diary work, which portrays a personal engagement with the city of that time; a visual loving, estrangement, belonging. The accompanying soundtrack explores the relationships between sound and image.

Analog Dayz is presented by the City of Melbourne as part of the Public Art Commissions 2012.
