MCSA is a not for profit organization. We offer Melbourne's diverse multicultural grass root communities an opportunity to enjoy this great world game of football in a safe and fun environment.
MCSA has 40 registered teams in 2017 participating in 4 leagues of double round robin competitions – Premier League, Championship League, League One Saturday and League One Sunday.
The following events and tournaments are organized annually:
- The popular Yamagata (knock-out) Cup
- Asian Cup Legacy women's tournament
- The Melbourne U-NITE Cup tournament with event partner Melbourne Victory FC where the final is played at AAMI Park or Etihad Stadium. Sixteen community teams each from a diverse cultural background participate in this tournament
- An end of season China Tour where the best-performed players are selected to represent MCSA in 3 friendly games.
MCSA has 1100+ players from 60+ cultural backgrounds registered in the above competitions. Our games are supported by more than 30 referees and assistant referees. All the referees are accredited and registered with Football Federation Victoria (FFV).
