MCSA has 40 registered teams in 2017 participating in 4 leagues of double round robin competitions – Premier League, Championship League, League One Saturday and League One Sunday.

The following events and tournaments are organized annually:

                    1. The popular Yamagata (knock-out) Cup
                    2. Asian Cup Legacy women's tournament
                    3. The Melbourne U-NITE Cup tournament with event partner Melbourne Victory FC where the final is played at AAMI Park or Etihad Stadium. Sixteen community teams each from a diverse cultural background participate in this tournament
