1. The City of Melbourne is the owner and operator of this website.

2. By completing the membership registration process, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, the City of Melbourne Conditions of Use, the City of Melbourne Privacy Policy, and any other terms, conditions, notices and disclaimers displayed elsewhere on the network of City of Melbourne websites.
If you object to these terms and conditions or any subsequent modifications to them, or become dissatisfied with your site user membership of the City of Melbourne website in any way, you agree that your sole remedy is to:
a) discontinue your site user use of the City of Melbourne website; and
b) terminate your membership,

by notifying the City of Melbourne in writing.

Membership Information

You warrant that the information you have provided to register as a site user is accurate, complete and up-to-date. You agree immediately inform the City of Melbourne of any changes that may occur to that information.
All personal information you provide City of Melbourne as a site user will be treated in accordance with the Victorian Information Privacy Act 2000, the Information Privacy Principles and the City of Melbourne Privacy Policy.

Username and Password

Once you become a site user you will receive a username and a password. You must ensure that these remain confidential at all times since you are entirely responsible for all activities which occur under your username and password, including unauthorised use of your or any other credit card. You must notify the City of Melbourne immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your username and password. Each username and password must be used by a single user and is not transferable.

Termination and alterations by the City of Melbourne

The City of Melbourne may at its discretion terminate your membership of, or access to the City of Melbourne website at any time. If this happens we will notify you. In such event:

• you are no longer authorised to access site user sections of the City of Melbourne website; and

• you will continue to be subject to and bound by all restrictions imposed on you by these Conditions of Use.

Security of your information

Whilst:

• the City of Melbourne website systems have been developed to be secure and to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, modification and disclosure; and
• the City of Melbourne systems undergo regular security checks and audits to ensure the security and integrity of those systems,

The City of Melbourne makes no warranty for the effectiveness or strength of its website system’s security technology and cannot guarantee complete security in this regard. The City of Melbourne is not liable for loss or damage arising out of your use of this website.
