A range of permits are available for people with specific parking needs, to help make it easier to park and get things done in the City of Melbourne.
As the city continues to grow and change, we need to use existing kerbside space in a way that considers the needs of all users. Parking permits are one way we manage parking demand and make sure people with a genuine need can access parking on the street. This means optimising access for people with special parking needs like people with disability, healthcare workers, business operators, visitors and residents.
After we approve your permit application, we’ll send you a link to pay online using Visa or Mastercard. You’ll need your payment reference number and the amount due, as shown in the example below.
You can also pay with EFTPOS in person at the Melbourne Town Hall Customer Service Centre.
New permits must be paid in full – we don’t accept part payments.
