We provide designated kerbside spaces in the municipality for vehicles displaying Australian Disability Parking permits.
Permit holders can also park for double the time shown on the sign in any general ‘green signed’ parking space.
Accessible parking spaces are also provided by some off-street car parks.

Disability parking permits
To use designated accessible parking spaces you must display a valid disability parking permit.
The accessible permit scheme managed by VicRoads includes three permit types:
- Australian Disability Parking (ADP) permit for individuals
- Double Time (DT) permit for individuals
- Australian Disability Parking (ADP) permit for organisations
City of Melbourne manages an additional permit type:
- City Access permit for individuals (who hold a valid ADP permit).
