Community Food Guide

Our Community Food Guide is a resource for community agencies or anyone in the community who needs information about how to access affordable, fresh and healthy food.

A person in a blue sweater is holding a netted bag full of vegetables, which is being filled with produce by a vendor. Only the two people's hands are visible. The vendor is wearing blue gloves.

The guide provides information about food access programs, services and resources within the City of Melbourne and surrounding suburbs across the following categories:

  • community meals, including free and low-cost meals
  • food banks, parcels and vouchers
  • fresh food and groceries, including markets, food delivery and shopping support
  • community gardens
  • food education, including nutrition, cooking and growing classes.
