2021 LGBTIQ+ Award

All The Queens Men is a leading creative voice within LGBTIQ+ communities, where its commitment to equity, connection and social justice finds expression through projects such as The Coming Back Out Ball, LGBTIQ+ Elders Dance Club and Digital Dance Club.

​Since 2017, the Coming Back Out BallOpens in new tab has addressed social isolation, ageism, homophobia and transphobia by celebrating Melbourne’s LGBTIQ+ elders.

The Coming Out Ball has wowed audiences with performances by acclaimed artists including the world-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma in 2019.

The project has attracted international attention, with a media campaign reaching more than 10 million and reviews in the New York Times and the Guardian, showcasing our city as a world leader in championing the social rights of ageing LGBTIQ+ people.
