Engaging with the government, industry and community, the MSHC responds to emerging issues that affect the LGBTIQA+ community to find solutions to improve people’s sexual health, well-being and quality of life.

The Melbourne Sexual Health Centre is a state-wide publicly funded Sexual Health Clinic that utilises on-site research to improve the treatment of sexually transmitted infections for the Victorian Community, particularly in the City of Melbourne where we are located.

So the work we do at Melbourne Sexual Health Centre is incredibly important as it helps destigmatise sexual health and HIV services to clients and to the Victorian community while also entangling research community engagement and awareness for the people of Victoria and Melbourne and our particular core group of people that we to look after.

Melbourne is a multicultural and diverse community and they contribute to our success because we are able to respond to their needs and really help them improve their sexual health and well-being in a destigmatized and non-judgmental way.
