Activity Rooms 1 and 2

The Activity Rooms are located on the ground floor of Kathleen Syme Library and Community Centre and can be booked individually or together.

Features of the room

The rooms are suitable for:

  • community social and celebratory functions
  • light recreational activities
  • meetings.

Please note:

  • There is no permanent storage available at this venue.
  • Toilets are located on both floor levels.
  • Access to the building is via a ramp and steps.​

Once we receive your booking request, we will provide you with a booking confirmation email with information on costs, inductions, building access (including after hours), security, cleaning and technical support. An invoice will follow separately. Payment can be made via the online payment portal, we only accept payment by debit/credit card.

If submitting a regular or recurring request, please be aware that bookings are limited to 15 hours per month, per hirer, and that certain spaces or times may not be suitable for recurring bookings.
