Lady Huntingfield Early Learning and Family Services Centre works

Exterior of building in garden setting
The redeveloped Lady Huntingfield Early Learning and Family Services Centre has been completed. The centre reopened in August 2021, welcoming children and families back.

The original centre was demolished to make way for a new two-storey building will that will better cater for the growing and increasingly diverse community in North Melbourne. The facility will support more families to access affordable care and support services, by almost doubling the number of child care places from 56 to 106.

Lady Huntingfield Early Learning and Family Services Centre offers long day care, kindergarten, maternal and child health and immunisation services, as well as family support and counselling, parenting services and playgrounds.

The building includes a number of design features that will help minimise environmental impacts over the life of the building including renewable energy, solar panels, natural ventilation and good insulation, rainwater harvesting and efficient fittings.

The centre is now accepting registrations. Go to Lady Huntingfield Early Learning and Family Services Centre to register your interest.
