The program
Do you know about the comprehensive, engaging and supportive learn to swim program NMRC run for children aged three years, through to adults?
Our program caters to all abilities from the complete beginner with no water experience, to the competent swimmer looking to refine their technique in a squad environment.
Aquatic education participants learn water safety and stroke development, as well as rescue techniques and survival skills.
Free pool access for the term
Practice is an essential part of learning to swim, and with our term aquatic education membership, swimming outside lesson time is free during and between terms when you re-enrol!
Our instructors
All instructors at NMRC are AUSTSWIM qualified and endeavour to provide the highest quality tuition to all enrolled in aquatic education.
Our instructors teaching style creates a friendly, encouraging and positive learning environment, by incorporating fun and games into lessons to enhance your, and your child’s experience.
Enrolments and term dates
Aquatic education terms at NMRC run from November to March each year during the peak season operating hours.
The next term commences in November 2011 and enrolments will open on 1 September 2011. Enquiries are being taken if you are interested in any upcoming terms if you send your details and information to nmrc@melbourne.vic.gov.au we can contact you when enrolments become available. Enrolments can only be taken in person at reception.
