For adults

Water familiarisation

No swimming experience? No worries, we run lessons for adults who are complete beginners as well. These lessons are run  between 9am  to 5pm and cater to those with little or no water experience.

These lessons are run in a no pressure, relaxed and supportive environment to ease you into swimming and familiarise you with the aquatic environment.

Initially, you'll learn basic water movement techniques and become comfortable with walking, floating and kicking. Submerging your face in the water, opening your eyes and breathing out while being submerged is a key skill taught early in these lessons.

Once these skills have been mastered and you are becoming confident in the aquatic environment, you are then moved onto basic flutter kick and floating using flotation devices and instructor assistance.

The refinement of  technique is the next progression. You'll move from freestyle to backstroke, survival skills and then to breastroke.

Our instructors are here for you and to help you be safe and comfortable in the water. Just remember your not alone.  In our group lessons you will be with others of the same abilities who are wanting to develop their swimming skills just like you.
