The adult swimming program caters for all levels, whether you have had little to no swimming experience or you want to refine your technique and increase your endurance in a squad environment.
Beginner lessons are held in our designated Aquatic Education small pool which is separate from the main pool hall, away from the public and other facility users.
Everyone learns at a different pace and practice is the key to getting the most from lessons. That's why swimming outside of lesson times at the Melbourne City Baths is free for direct debit Aquatic Education members.
Our customer service staff will be more than happy to assist you in determining the most suitable level of classes for you. Enrolments can be made in person at the Melbourne City Baths. You can enrol in Adult Aquatic Education classes at any time throughout the term (except the last two weeks of term).
