Burning Daylight
Marrugeku

It’s Karaoke night, Broome style, where country meets hip hop meets Japanese love song. Closing time and they take it outside.  A lone cowboy blows into town, stirring its ghosts for a long and wild night, as past and present dance it out on the street.

Duration: 70 minutes, no interval

Where: Arts House, Meat Market, 5 Blackwood Street, North Melbourne
When: Thursday, 19 November to Saturday, 21 November at 7.30pm; Sunday 22 November at 4pm

Green Tickets are back! For FREE entry to any of the performances of Marrugeku’s Burning Daylight, all you have to do is leave your car at home and choose a more planet-friendly mode of transport. We will want to see your bike helmet or your public transport ticket and possibly check to see if you are perspiring! Please note it has been suggested that hot air from falsehood contributes to global warming and is likely to create bad carbon karma. Get in quick as we only have a limited number of green tickets available.

Even though the ticket is FREE you will need to book your seat in advance by emailing artshouse@melbourne.vic.gov.au with your name, and the date and time of the performance you will be attending. We would also like to know what emission free mode of transport you intend to use.
