Refurbishment and expansion

The Melbourne Multicultural Hub occupies the ground floor and part of level one at 506 Elizabeth Street. Refurbishments will continue during the next two years, completing work on the remainder of the first floor.  The City of Melbourne and AMES are working together to secure funding for this next stage of renovation.

Why a multicultural hub?

The Multicultural Hub is an opportunity for the City of Melbourne to help strengthen community connections and foster good will. The hub is a central place for the city’s culturally diverse communities to meet, interact, collaborate and create opportunities for the sharing of knowledge.

The hub has been established as part of the City of Melbourne’s Multicultural strategy.
