Tourism Alliance Victoria and Victoria Tourism Industry Council (VTIC) will host Victoria Tourism Week from 6-11 September 2010. Victoria Tourism Week is an opportunity to run your own events and participate in industry-wide activities, for example, hosting a booth at the Melbourne Tourism Industry Exchange, running a VTIC BBQ, hosting a Tourism Excellence workshop or planning your own local event.
Victoria Tourism Week will:
- bring the tourism industry together in a positive and inclusive way
- identify ways to improve the quality of the visitor experience
- identify meaningful career paths for people who work in the industry
- encourage Victorians to get out and about in their own backyard.
