Voiceover: Melburnians love eating out, whether it's a relaxed outdoor meal or an unforgettable fine  dining experience.

Guy Grossi: I think what the consumer can expect in Melbourne as far as food goes is an absolute beautiful quality. It's really difficult these days to go out to a restaurant in Melbourne and not get good food. You'd be hard pressed. What they can expect is a place where food and wine is really a culture not just an industry

Voiceover: Locals flock to Lygon Street, Carlton for Italian pasta and pizza. They descend on Lonsdale Street in the central city for a taste of Greece and little Bourke Street for mouth-watering Asian food.

Guy Grossi: You can dine out on a different cuisine every night of the week for a month and still not hit the same cuisine twice which I think is fantastic but it's great to see that now, we're actually maturing as a city and developing our own style from this great melting pot of resource that we have, a style which bases itself on beautiful fresh ingredients that are so widely available here in Melbourne.
