The Business Events industry is the highest yielding sector of the tourism industry. The Melbourne Convention + Visitors Bureau identifies and bids for the right to host Business Events (meetings, incentive travel programs, conventions and corporate events) from around Australia and the world. 

The new Melbourne Convention Centre has a ‘6 Green Star’ energy rating and boasts a 5,553 seat plenary hall, 32 meeting rooms, a grand banquet room for 1,500 guests, and is within a five minute walking distance of five major convention hotels.
