Where to now? The productive, valuable and informative rounds of business consultations undertaken by the City of Melbourne since 2006 have provided the Council with much to think about and digest.
The contribution of participants in this program has been key to guiding Council’s interaction with businesses. We will continue responding to the needs of various industry sectors through this program.

There is potential for increasing awareness and interaction with the business community through the Enterprise Melbourne portal. In particular, the services that City of Melbourne offers to businesses, such as industry intelligence, financial assistance and direct development activities with key industry sectors.
Strengthening industry sectors
Participants believe that interaction between businesses and increased collaboration would assist them in strengthening their sectors. The role of City of Melbourne in sponsoring industry events will continue to prove essential for economic development in the municipality.
