In 2008 the Melbourne Writers Festival moved to Federation Square, and their children’s program came to ArtPlay.
For two weekends in August, writers, illustrators and storytellers descend for WordPlay @ ArtPlay providing day-long activities for children.
Past visitors have included Jackie French, Terry Denton, Andy Griffiths, Leigh Hobbs, Danny Katz, Shaun Tan and Mitch Vane.
